Attention please: Maharishi Jyotish & Solar Eclipse on August 21
The solar eclipse tomorrow, 21 August, is of great significance for the world, according to the international council of Maharishi Jyotishis (Vedic astrologers). It is important that we all do our Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programme most thoroughly tomorrow and for the coming few months.
The Jyotishis predicted that the period between the lunar eclipse of 7/8 August and the solar eclipse of 22 August will be one of tension in world consciousness. In particular, this would affect USA, China, India, Japan, and the Koreas. It would be sensitive in terms of the effect on governments and the relations between them. At the same time, this would also be a period of support for spiritual development and the success of any consciousness-based initiatives in the world.
They added that according to how this worked out in the period up to the eclipes on 21 August, that will determine the quality of events over the coming few months. They said that things will improve significantly towards the end of the year
As always, it is of great importance that everyone supports coherence-creating at this delicate time – joining group programmes wherever possible and if it is not possible to join the group, then flying at coherence times.
Specifially, here are some recommendations from the Maharishi Jyotish Council for appropriate activities during the solar eclipse on August 21, which will be from 20:40 to 21:10 in Spain.
1. It’s recommended to not begin important projects or special events on this day, as Nature will not be as supportive. The most life-supporting activities recommended during an eclipse are those which bring the attention inward. This does not mean we cannot or should not offer the normal TM instruction or Checking meetings.
2. It’s better to stay inside during the time that the eclipse is visible. You can see the details on the following site:
3. According to the knowledge of Maharishi Jyotish, the planet Surya (Sun) is cosmically connected to digestive fire and Chandra (Moon) to the assimilation of food. So it is recommended to not take food during the approximately one-hour period from start to finish of the solar eclipse in Skelmersdale – England.
